The series is actually quite extensive, so if you want to get a head start feel free to go as deep into the series as you can. While we will deviate at times somewhat from what the presenter introduces, working through these should give you some practice familiarizing yourself with BlueJ and writing some introductory Java programs (which will be VERY helpful when we progress deeper into the year into some of the more theoretical stuff.) These are recorded in HD, so that's an option for you if you're having trouble seeing the presenter's screen in the default resolution. Some are obviously better than others, so I did a little searching and came across a tutorial series that I think does a decent job of giving you a taste of your first few cups of Java. If you are new to programming in Java, there are many videos available on YouTube to walk you through some of the basics.
